DNA-RNA Interactive Notebooks

These are printable notebooks that still contain the two-column format. These are easier for larger classes and eliminate the need for a composition book. So students end up keeping up with the 6-8 notebooks per semester.

These notebooks also allow me to meet accommodations for students that need material broken down into manageable parts and checking their understanding.

These are notes that are taped into a composition book. This works best for smaller classes and allows for students to keep up with all of their material from the entire semester in one location.

As we have moved to a digital learning environment recently, I have developed digital interactive notebooks. I still wanted students to have a way to record notes and be able to use sorting cards and other manipulatives. Thus, digital interactive notebooks were born!

As a teacher, I am always updating my material. I updated both the inside and outside of my notebooks over the years. I have added a cover where I  have placed the animals students picked on day one to represent themselves. These have become our inside jokes. I have also started using prefilled table of contents since I am now well versed in what handouts I want to use each unit and am able to have students tape in the entire unit as once to save class time.
